Sweet Treats of the Frozen Kind

Today, I made Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream by combining this recipe with Betty Crocker’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, reducing the number of egg yolks to 2 and increasing the amount of milk and cream to 400ml.

((Warning: If you have a low bandwidth, this is a MASSIVE PICTURE POST. You were forewarned.))

The Ingredients…

Combined in a pot…

Put in the fridge to cool…

Compressing the cookie dough…

Ice cream mix put into the ice cream maker…

Mixing in the dough…

Removed from ice cream maker…

Put into a container for further freezing…

Voila!

Delicious Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. It’s a mite on the sweet side, but I’ll rectify that in the future.
