Tales of Fail in Retail

There are many terrible tales about retail but none so terribly funny as the ones shared on Not Always Right.

Not Always Right is a rather interesting blog-like website that collects the funny and hopelessly tragic stories and quotations gathered by retailers from customers across the globe. It was inspired by “Overheard in New York”, a collection of quotations from New Yorkers.

Unlike other similar communities where one can share one’s retail experiences, Not Always Right is carefully moderated. Only the best and funniest stories get through and stories that are simply just complaints get filtered out.

The stories and quotes are also stripped down to their bare bones, without too many personal comments in between, which is rather refeshing. Reading Not Always Right usually puts me in a better frame of mind about my job and reminds me to treat people in retail right.

So, for tales of fail, head on over to http://notalwaysright.com/.
